Indigenous Scholarships

Through the generosity of our Old Girls and the broader School community, MLC School is able to offer a small number of means-tested scholarships to Indigenous girls, entering either the Junior School or Year 7. These provide partial or full funding for the length of enrolment to cover tuition fees and some costs associated with attending the School.

All applicants for the Indigenous Scholarship program should submit a general enrolment application by 30 January in the year prior to the proposed entry for their daughter.

Applicants for Year 7 are asked to apply for and sit the scholarship examination prior to their proposed entry year.

All applicants will be considered and those shortlisted will be interviewed during the course of the year prior to entry. Student enthusiasm and family support for the opportunity to attend MLC School are relevant factors in determining suitable recipients.

Our hope is to be able to offer more opportunities to assist girls through this scholarship program as we grow the level of philanthropic support available.
